Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter

1 package (8oz) cream cheese

1 cup half & half

1/3 cup grated real Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

This is a really good Alfredo recipe that you can use on any of your favorite pastas. It is also great to use as a sauce for spinach and chicken Alfredo pizzas! Unlike the bottled Alfredo sauces, you can pronounce all of the ingredients in this one! Melt the butter and cream cheese in a medium size saucepan over medium heat. After the butter and cream cheese  melt together, add the remaining ingredients and mix together. Keep mixing together until the sauce thickens up, do not allow the bottom to burn. Take it off the heat. Pour hot sauce over your pasta and enjoy!

Marinara / Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:

1 diced onion

10 cloves minced garlic

4 tbsp. olive oil

4 tsp. salt

2 tsp. sugar

4 tsp. Italian Seasoning

1 large 6lb can of crushed tomatoes or 4, 28oz cans

This is an awesome recipe with no weird ingredients or preservatives! Saute the diced onion and minced garlic in a large stock pot with the olive oil until translucent. Add all of the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for at least 1 hour. I usually let it simmer for about 3 hours and make the house smell good! This makes a lot of sauce. I usually freeze some in freezer bags for quick dinners later.

Taco Seasoning

Ingredients:

1/2 cup chili powder

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons onion powder

2 teaspoons ground oregano

1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon ground paprika

2 tablespoons ground cumin

3 tablespoons salt

2 tablespoons black pepper

This is a great taco seasoning recipe that has no preservatives or weird ingredients in it! Just blend all of these ingredients together and store in a container. Double or triple the recipe if you want to have plenty on hand.
